If you purchase a firearm online, you're going to need an FFL to ship it to. We're here for you! Once you complete the purchase, copy the license below and Email it to the seller. Instruct them to include your name and phone number in the box when they ship. If they are an FFL, they know to send us a copy of their license. If it's a private individual, be sure to instruct them to send your contact info as well as a GOOD Color copy of their drivers license. Without this, we have no way to enter it into the system and can't complete the transfer until we get it.
Private individuals MAY ship handguns as long as their ID is included. An email or text message digital copy is acceptable as well. Once everything is clear on our end, you will fill out a background check and we'll run it quickly on the computer through the FBI NICS system (National Instant Check System). If all goes well, you'll take it within a few minutes of completing the paperwork. Sometimes the FBI has trouble finding all of your information and they will "Delay" the transaction. They then have 3 complete business days to find that information (often it's sooner). If you were delayed on a Friday for example, the clock starts on Monday and goes thru Wednesday. The soonest you could pick it up if they do not call back is that Thursday. If there is a holiday in the midst, that's another day delay. (We don't make these rules!)
If you have an Ohio CCW (Concealed Carry license), We simply write the numbers from your license on the paperwork and you're good to go instantly without sending your information to the FBI. The current CCW is under a constant background check.. so if you're caught doing evil.. the Sheriff will come take it from you right away. Everyone with this license is currently a good guy.

You may copy and email this license to an FFL or Private individual for shipping firearms to our store. To save as a JPEG, screen shot it with your Smart phone, or on PC push the Windows button - Shift - and S button at the same time to screen shot it. You can also hit print screen and paste into your email. If you have Facebook, you'll find it in our photo section there as well!
We will contact you when it arrives or you may stop in if you see that it has been delivered. If you have a valid Ohio CCW card, we will not have to run your information through the FBI NICS. We simply put your license information on the form 4473 and you take the firearm instantly. Not all FFL dealers do this, but as it is Lawful and a Viable solution, we do.
